Wildlife Care Apprentices (Ages 10-15)

Your child will spend a half-day learning what it really takes to care for wildlife at Blandford Nature Center. Led by the Wildlife Programs Specialist and supported by wildlife volunteers, participants ages 10–15 will meet the center's animal ambassadors up close, help prepare their food and enrichment activities, and then explore the Blandford grounds on a wildlife adventure. It's a hands-on experience that gives kids real insight into animal care work. Everyone heads home with a vintage Blandford sticker as a keepsake. This is a drop-off program, so you'll need to provide allergy and emergency information when registering. The half-day runs both indoors and outdoors, so dress your child for the weather. Registration is required in advance, with online sign-ups closing at noon the day before. Pricing is $75 for non-members and $60 for members.
