Wildlife Care Apprentices (Ages 10-15)

Is your child fascinated by animals and nature? The Wildlife Care Apprenticeship at Blandford Nature Center offers a hands-on afternoon program designed for kids ages 10–15. Your child will work alongside the center's wildlife team to meet animal ambassadors, help prepare their food and enrichment activities, and explore the Blandford property on a guided wildlife adventure. This is a drop-off program, so you'll have a few hours to yourself while your child learns from experienced staff and volunteers. Participants head home with a Blandford vintage logo sticker and plenty of memories from their afternoon. The program costs $75 for non-members and $60 for Blandford members (a 20% discount). To register, you'll need to provide allergy and emergency information for your child.
