Winter Break at GRCM
Make winter break magical with creativity and discovery at Grand Rapids Children's Museum.
The Grand Rapids Children's Museum is hosting an extended winter break program packed with hands-on activities and creative experiences. Kids can participate in daily Giftworks programs, clay studio workshops, dance and movement classes, juggling lessons, and origami sessions led by local artists and performers. The museum's two floors of interactive exhibits remain open throughout the break, giving families plenty to discover across multiple visits.
All winter break programming is included with regular museum admission—no extra fees for the special activities. The schedule varies by week, with different offerings from late December through early January. Note that the museum closes on certain holidays and closes early on December 30 for a ticketed New Year's Eve celebration. Check grcm.org for complete hours, admission rates, and the detailed activity schedule to plan your visits.
